Wooden house design 2011 by JVA

The house is separated in two areas: for parents and their children. the top floor with views of the southern area is designed for parents, while the lover floor faced the river and is designed as a children’s area. Red house located on the western outskirts of Oslo, Norway. The flow of the river near the house and placed perpendicular to the stream. exterior is done in painted wood panels red colors that reflect the temperament of their owners.

Although the house has a modern design is not typical, in this area looks quite modern. Like many other houses in Australia is also implementing “green” and saving technologies such as rainwater harvesting, solar hot water, passive “heat stack” cross ventilation, solar control glass and so forth. Balaam, a private residence in the town site which was designed in harmony with the environment and weather in the region. It is built using zinc aluminum, concrete, timber battening rich and raw.

The house dressing is a black-stained wood with natural wood between the windows partition. The top floor is for parents and the bottom for their two children are students. There is a small guest 35m2 studio in the basement. The absence of a nearby house allows exclusive use of glass for exterior construction. Thanks to that the bathroom has a beautiful surrounding scenery. The house is two-fold located in one of Bergen’s most interesting sites overlooking the fjords and islands south west coast.
