
Design Green House Renovation

This green home renovations from the 1920s many farms conducted by local architecture firm Architecture W. A of the original materials used in reconstruction, but the second story was added and the interior walls removed to create more open floor plans that attract more natural light in the house and to maximize cross ventilation. Renovated homes use solar thermal heating system which provides hot water and radiant floor heat, using a set of roof-mounted tubes is more common than flat panels. In addition to the solar roof partly covered with plants and, at the bottom of the roof, a vegetable garden and a small seating area is located. The house is insulated with recycled denim jeans and fitted with extractors that capture heat from showers and faucets. This underground space into 700 square feet of space is perfect for a working studio.
