Natural House Design
Calculus was fully renovated former home of an esteemed horticulturalist, preserving the original landscape and the relocation of the main entrance. Visitors entering through the Torii gate, navigate to the flow of the river and around the pond to the entry-storied stone. As the entrance as the interior of the house was mostly done in natural wood and stone materials. Not only the furniture, but also the interior walls are made of wood. A farmhouse kitchen, dining room and living room is a communal space open to the living room.
