Park Farm suffer potentially fatal cases of rot, due to wood rot and other matters related to age. Some of the wood defects have been removed, some replaced and some joints are also added and regenerated. Interior has been updated to more contemporary wood materials. The kitchen is made of chestnut and beautiful handmade staircase and bathroom furniture made of walnut. This restoration of the historic farmhouse built in the Elizabethan period 2004-2005. As the owner of the claim, renovating old buildings is never easy but the results are very useful.
Wooden house interior by Ikuyo Nakama
The house was mostly done in a rich natural forests. Only the frame is made of concrete. Interior does not hide anything so walls and floors is a pure combination of concrete and wood. The house has large rooms linked by a loft and a kitchen that is very very small. This house was designed by architect Ikuyo Nakama Japanese. It’s quite small and only have all that is really needed for a perfect weekend for a work and the people.

Everywhere around the house different plants and trees can be found. Living in a place like living in a forest in the middle of town. Even the micro climate there is different from a regular house. This volume is fitted to a plot terrace with retaining wall 2-floor high in the back, which turned into a pebbly waterfall that opens to the sky. Below, a pool that collects rain water covering the living room. Located in Singapore, this house brings together concrete, glass, wood, steel and natural elements such as plants and trees. The hotel has rooms exchanged floating in a larger volume of space.
